A boxed set of six blank Human Anatomy note cards with matching envelopes.
Each image was adapted from illustrations in the seminal work on women's health "Die Frau als Hausärztin" by Doctor Anna Fischer Dückelman.
The book was initially published in 1901 and republished in this lavishly illustrated edition in 1913. This book was one of the very first to discuss women's health as its own issue and discussed such taboo subjects as masturbation and the dangers of tight laced corsetry.
The set includes one each of the following images:
Human Brain
Human Heart
The Nervous System
Human Musculature
The Skull
Human Ribcage
*Set includes one each of the six images shown here, printed on a smooth white paper stock that accepts both pen and pencil easily.
*Individual cards measure 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
*Cards come packaged in a clear plastic box.
